Do, Fail, Learn, Improve: Aries Full Moon in Grand Cardinal Cross, October 17, 2024

You are having a difficult time at this Full Moon in Aries, which sits within a Grand Cardinal Cross on Thursday, Oct 17, 2024. If you can be courageous enough to embrace the energies of this Grand Cardinal Cross where all the alpha signs of the zodiac are competing for power: identity vs sensitivity and force vs spontaneity and emotional triggers vs permanent transformation -- you will surely succeed in multiple areas of your life.

The trick is to ignore the triggers and the sensitivities. While you are wanting to free yourself from bad habits like people pleasing and overthinking issues, you are also holding yourself back from doing the things you want to accomplish with guilt and shame for focusing on yourself instead of on others. Let the guilt and shame go.

You need to force yourself to take action, boldly courageous with optimism that sustains you even when you make mistakes. In fact, you need to make mistakes so that you can learn from them. In the cycle of working and failing and learning, you gain expertise and wisdom. Have fun with it.

If what you are doing does not work, then try it another way. Do things in your own best interest for fun and ignore the temptation to feel guilty for being happy. Remember that quick, easy, short, (the way of Aries), is the way to act. It may not feel grounded, but the more you actually try… even if you fail, the further along you will propel yourself and the better you will get at the thing(s) you are trying to accomplish.

Ellias Lonsdale wrote in “Inside Degrees” for the 24th degree of Aries where the full moon conjunct Chiron occurs in the midst of the Grand Cardinal Cross: “…You most especially embody a self-generative style and substance that is wildly needed and inspirationally infused into the collective bloodstream so that we can get on with innovations and limitless worlds, and feel confident that there is somebody there pioneering the bold reaches forward who is too foolish to stop for anything.”

Here is a metaphor to help explain:

In a futuristic world, you are a visionary scientist working to harness the untapped power of light and sound. Your dream is to create a beam of energy so precise and potent that it can revolutionize agriculture, healthcare, ecological environments, and transportation. The idea seems impossible—how can something as intangible as light or sound be transformed into a lifesaving force?

You begin by experimenting, using early prototypes of your Lightstream device. At first, the energy dissipates too quickly or is too weak to make a difference. You fail repeatedly—crops wilt, energy fizzles out, and transportation systems remain grounded. Yet, with every failed attempt, you learn something new about the frequencies, wavelengths, and the subtle ways that light and sound interact with matter.

Undeterred, you continue refining your technology, tweaking the way the beam is focused, experimenting with different materials to channel the energy. Each failure is a puzzle piece, guiding you closer to the perfect design. Finally, after countless trials, the Lightstream stabilizes—a beam of pure energy capable of accelerating plant growth, healing wounds, restoring ecosystems, and powering transportation with minimal resources.

What was once impossible becomes reality. You’ve learned through each setback, and now this energy—once beyond your grasp—becomes a transformative force, opening new doors for humanity. The Lightstream technology spreads across the globe, reshaping the future of agriculture, medicine, and the environment. You’ve turned an abstract idea into something tangible and lifesaving, creating a future where innovation paves the way for sustainable progress.

Stop holding yourself back. Be the fool who does not care if they get it wrong. Don’t worry about how you look. If you will commit to do the things you are compelled to accomplish… even if you don’t know how, or it’s awkward, or you fail… just keep doing it over and over in different easy, short, quick ways until you succeed. And then expand on that.

By this time next year, you will be in a great situation. All of your work will be recognized and applauded. Stay hopeful in the present while focusing on the future. Leave the past behind. You must love your future more than your past and work for it because it’s the life you crave. Your future will be awesome.
