Balancing Energies to Succeed: Grand Mutable Cross, Oct 4, 2024

You are the Performer and the Ringmaster. You must embrace the coming changes in your life with grace and acceptance. You must grieve your losses and your regrets. You must also prepare for your new self emerging to offer the world your sparkling gifts.

We are trying to balance our desire for adventure with our present responsibilities, our wandering minds,... all while paying close attention to the rhythm and details. We are each this circus performer carefully walking the dreamy tightrope while juggling ideas and words and paying attention to our ringmaster's controlling whistle... all while longing to escape and swing freely above it all in the glorious thrill seeking trapeze act.

While the energies of the Solar Eclipse in opposition to Neptune Retrograde sitting in sextiles between Pluto Retrograde and Uranus Retrograde and the Grand Water Trine made up of Mars in Cancer, Venus in Scorpio, and Saturn Retrograde in Pisces are all still very much affecting us, these energies from a Grand Mutable Cross are also now in play. The Grand Mutable Cross  represents both the opportunities and challenges of adapting to change.

This Grand Mutable Cross is made up of Jupiter in Gemini squaring the MidHeaven in Virgo which is squaring Neptune Retrograde in Pisces which is squaring Icarus in Sagittarius, which is back to squaring Jupiter. These square and opposition energies create tension that leads us to a break through, or to a breaking point.

Jupiter in Gemini (Juggling Words and Ideas): You’re juggling a multitude of colorful balls, each one representing a new idea, conversation, or piece of information. As you toss these ideas into the air, they move quickly and require mental agility to keep up. The challenge is not to drop any of the balls or become overwhelmed by the sheer volume of thoughts flying around.

Neptune Retrograde in Pisces (Balancing on a Tightrope of Dreams): While juggling, you’re also walking a tightrope. The tightrope symbolizes Neptune’s dreamlike, slippery energy. It’s thin and hard to see, representing the blurred line between reality and illusion. You must keep your balance, trusting your instincts, but the risk of losing your footing and falling into confusion or daydreams or even sadness and exhaustion is always present.

Icarus in Sagittarius (Trapeze Swing of Risks): Above you is a trapeze, tempting you to take a daring leap. Icarus in Sagittarius represents this urge for adventure and risk-taking. The trapeze swings back and forth, and it’s exhilarating to imagine soaring through the air. However, if you leap too soon or without enough preparation, you might miss the catch and fall. It's the tension between daring greatly and knowing when to stay grounded. Remember the story of Icarus and Daedalus and do NOT fly too close to the Sun.

Midheaven in Virgo (The Ringmaster’s Whistle): The ringmaster, standing on the ground with a whistle, keeps the performance in check. The ringmaster symbolizes Virgo’s influence on the Midheaven: focused, practical, and detail-oriented. They remind you to keep the act coordinated, to pay attention to timing, precision, and small adjustments. The whistle keeps you on track, helping you integrate all the elements of the performance into a successful routine.

Success comes from your ability to stay flexible, adapt to the unpredictable, and balance all these energies without dropping the balls, losing your footing, or missing the mark. The good news is this Grand Mutable Cross enhances your focus and your abilities to do all of these things at the same time and succeed.

Get out there! Pursuit your dreams. Live your life to the fullest! You have everything you need to do anything you want:  Stay flexible. Adapt to the unpredictable. Balance all of the energies in your own way so that they work for you. Share your gifts with the world, and enjoy yourself in the process. You Got This!!!
